A good scare is not something you save just for Halloween, you have to enjoy it whenever you can and Ellen knows that

Celebrities are just like us, we’ve recently found out, thanks to a substantial increase in the number of paparazzi following them around: they go shopping, they run errands, they grab Starbucks and junk food, they do yoga and Pilates, and they usually look less than their glamourous selves whilst so doing.

In the past couple of years, thanks to Ellen DeGeneres and her fun show, we’ve also found out that celebrities are also easily scared. We’re not even talking here about a very elaborate prank or scare: stars, just like us, tend to jump out of their seat and even drop an F-bomb if you sneak up behind them and yell really loudly.

In the spirit of Halloween, Ellen put together a supercut of her most popular celebrity scares, including the most recent one on Jake Gyllenhaal. Props to the talk show for going all out for this special edition of the show, not just with her Amal Alamuddin + George Clooney wedding costume (hilarious!), but also with the decorations on her set, including the moving carnivorous plants.

However, the crown jewel of the show was without a doubt this supercut. My all-time favorite remains the Taylor Swift bathroom scare, if only because I know we’ll have no other chance of ever seeing Taylor falling down on the floor. The Julia Louis-Dreyfus / Julia Roberts scare comes a close second.

Check out today’s suggestion for Viral of the Day and drop me a line in the comments section to say which one you liked best. That includes the celebrity’s reaction, not just the scare, naturally.
