Sound engineer Mario Wienerroither has found a new way of making us experience classic music videos, by removing the music from them and then adding the sounds that would normally be heard based on the motions of whoever is in the frame.

He famously did it to David Bowie and Mick Jagger’s “Dancing in the Street” (below), which topped 2 million viewers and forever changed your perception of a classic.

He’s now turned his attention to another smashing hit, Britney Spears’ 2000 “Oops!... I Did It Again,” turning the famous red suit dancing sequence in the funniest thing you’ll probably see today.

Because, you see, Britney’s futuristic suit, as hot as it might look, squeaks a lot. And because it’s always hilarious to look at someone dancing when there’s no music playing.

For a taste of old-school Britney and a very entertaining way to pass the time, check out Mario’s work in the two videos embedded below. The Britney video has over 200,000 views as we speak, but it deserves more, so be generous if you agree and spread the word.

Enjoy!
