14 DAY TRIAL // “Frozen” was one of the biggest box office hits of late 2013, being embraced by critics and fans alike. It’s already won Disney several prestigious awards in the ongoing awards season but, as expected, it also spanned plenty of parodies.
One of them is above, my proposal for today’s Viral of the Day. It’s called “Frozen (Censored)” and it’s supposedly a reel of scenes that never made it into the final movie because they included too many profanities.
In reality, the footage is lifted from the film but stand-up comedian Jake Vale had some fun with it by applying beeps and blurs in the most random of places (and some not so random), to the most hilarious results.
In doing so, Vale was inspired by Jimmy Kimmel’s segment Unnecessary Censorship, which proved that even the most innocent things said could be made to look naughty with a little beep here and there.
The same applies to this “Frozen” video. Yes, it’s shameless because it makes you think of all kinds of things that got beeped out but, at the same time, it’s also hilarious. Check it out.
