14 DAY TRIAL // Kim Kardashian is one of the ugliest celebrity criers, which probably explains why she doesn’t do it that often on her reality show. Oh, but when she does it, it’s memorable: take for instance this video from an episode from Kourtney & Kim Take New York, which aired in January 2011.
Today’s suggestion for Viral of the Day isn’t memorable only because it shows Kim crying, but also because it shows her losing her mind over a nude photospread she agreed to do for W Magazine, for a piece titled Kim Kardashian: The Art of Reality.
She was led to believe that letters would be covering her body and that only the outline would be shown, but the spread that came out revealed a whole lot more. And yes, Kim had every reason to feel she’d been taken advantage of, if that’s not what she had agreed to.
There is a funny part about the whole thing, though, namely the fact that Kim says she would never again show off her body in a magazine spread, not even if Vogue with Anna Wintour herself came knocking on her door to talk her into it.
“I've definitely learned my lesson… I'm never taking my clothes off again, even if it’s for Vogue. I don’t want people to be like, ‘All she’s good for is, you know, being naked’,” she says.
As you might have heard, Kim just did a very revealing spread for Paper Magazine, which actually happens to be her second like this this year. Editors for the magazine are telling the media that shedding off all clothes and displaying her famous assets for the camera was actually Kim’s idea, that they didn’t even suggest it.
So much for a lesson well learned, right?
