Screen Junkies points out the most obvious flaws in Zack Snyder’s Superman film

What with all these rumors and speculation around “Batman vs. Superman,” the sequel to Zack Snyder’s first Superman film “Man of Steel,” it’s time to take a few minutes off your busy day to remember some of the biggest flaws in it.

Screen Junkies is now a fixture with movie buffs because of their Honest Trailer series, but that’s not to say they don’t occasionally get it wrong. Personally, I think this is one of those times. *Spoilers for the movie ahead, be warned.*

The problem with the video above isn’t that it’s not accurate but rather that it’s being accurate at the expense of the bigger picture, regardless of context. It’s true, Superman and Zod killed thousands in their epic fight at the end of the film but, then again, any other gods fighting to the death amongst us mortals would probably do the same.

It’s also true that Superman killed Zod at the end, a first on film, but that was the whole point because Snyder wanted to show a different superhero than the one we were expecting.

I do agree though that there was a lot of product placement, but, then again, this is such a common practice these days that we hardly ever stop to notice it.

Check out the Honest Trailer and let me know if you agree with it: was “Man of Steel” as bad as it makes it appear?
