A special treat for very special fans of “Game of Thrones,” the original novels

Today’s mashup is as unexpected as it’s unspeakably awesome: it’s Wiz Khalifa meets “Game of Thrones,” House Baratheon and its supporters, to be more exact. You will thank me later, after you check it out.

Three guys with a thorough knowledge of the novels on which HBO based its hit series “Game of Thrones” (“A Song of Ice and Fire” by George R. R. Martin) set out to pay homage to the House Baratheon, one of the houses claiming the crown of Westeros.

They did so on Wiz Khalifa’s “Black and Yellow” and, with all honesty, they did an amazing job at it.

“A hip-hop homage to the three Baratheon brothers from Game of Thrones and their claims to the Iron Throne of Westeros. The song takes place roughly between book/season one and two,” reads the description of the video.

Useless to say, if you’ve seen only the HBO series, you might not get many of the jokes and puns in this homage rap track.
