Stranger things have happened during a live news broadcast – but this “awkward Kristin” segment must be among the funniest. Check it out in the player above.

During a live news broadcast from the University of Florida, the girl in the backroom copying files realized she shouldn't be there.

Her reaction to realizing she's being filmed is hysterical: at first, she freezes like a deer caught in the headlights, then she tries to act as if she doesn't notice the camera.

Called the “I'm invisible” escape, this technique means you're to pretend you don't notice anything around you, being based somewhat on the principle of “if I can't see you, neither can you see me.”

The solution doesn't work for Kristin, though, so she decides to simply slide down from the frame and then crawl a bit on the floor.

The result: one of the funniest virals known to man.
