Of all the Miley Cyrus covers, the one above is probably the best – and not because it’s sung by a blind girl but because it has more heart than any other. World, meet Joyce Jimenez.

Joyce is only 11 years old and she’s from the Philippines. She is also blind, as you can tell from the video, because she’s following the words of the song with her fingers.

Not much else is known of her but, as far as I can tell, the video was shot in a classroom. Obviously, what goes without saying is that little Joyce has talent, being able of pouring such deep emotion in the song that it’s hard to listen to it and not feel moved.

“Wrecking Ball” is Miley Cyrus’ most recent single, a ballad about lost love and the heartbreak that follows a failed relationship. Unfortunately, at the time of release, “Wrecking Ball” got more attention for the official video than for the actual song.

The video was shot by fashion photo Terry Richardson and had Miley riding a wrecking ball in nothing but a pair of boots, together with other gratuitous shots of her toned body, such as you’d come to expect from “Uncle Terry.”

But Joyce’s cover makes everything all right again.
