Vine is one of the fastest growing Android applications with more than 1 million downloads on Google Play Store. Vine is a major hit on the iOS platform, but the application faces fierce competition on Android from other similar apps.

In order to enhance the overall user experience, developers decided a few days ago to release an important update that brings lots of new features and improvements.

According to Vine Labs, creators of the application, last week's update is the biggest update ever released for the Android version of Vine.

One of the most important changes that is now making Vine users’ lives much easier is called “revining” and allows them to share favorite posts with all followers on Vine with just one click.

In addition, Vine users can browse or submit posts to 15 new channels and there's also a new fast capture widget, which enables users to instantly jump to the Vine camera right from the home screen.

Last but not least, developers have introduced new capture tools, like a brand new focus grid and ghost tools. A new mute button in the menu has been added as well, along with some performance improvements that have yet to be detailed.

This important update has been pushed to all Vine users before the weekend, but now it looks like there’s a new update available for download.

It appears that the big Vine update caused some issues that needed to be fixed quickly, or developers simply had this small update prepared and decided to deliver it as fast as possible. The following changes are included in the latest update for Vine for Android:

- Fixes an issue that prevented posting to Facebook; - Fixes an issue that prevented posts from uploading; - Share profiles via SMS; - Other bug fixes and improvements.

Vine 1.3.2 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 4.0 and up.
