Vimeo has announced that it's debuting a central place to showcase all of the ways you can access content from the site without actually visiting it. Everything from the iPhone app to the Chrome extension to the various devices it's available on gets showcased on the new Vimeo Everywhere page.

The web has evolved to the point where everything is online, not just documents, but music, video and even applications. Even so, we still think of the web as the thing we access through our browsers, but even that is changing.

"Vimeo has expanded beyond your browser and can now be found in devices like TVs, set-top boxes, and your smart phone," Vimeo's Katie Armstrong writes.

There are plenty of apps and devices that do away with the browser, yet they are still very much about the web and a video site is a great example.

Sure, you can browse Vimeo.com and get access to all of the videos, but there's more to the service, you can upload and edit videos straight from the iPhone app, for example.

"Fire up your phone and head over to vimeo.com/m for an oasis of audio-visual relief, or use the sexy new Vimeo iPhone app to shoot, edit and upload a quick video to share the experience with your friends," she added. For now, just the iPhone app is available, but both Android and iPad versions are in the works.

"It doesn't stop there! Don't forget that Vimeo is also here to improve your TV watching experience tenfold. You can catch up with your Vimeo videos on Roku, Google TV, Boxee, Vizio TV and more," she continued.

There's stuff for the desktop as well, the CouchMode for Chrome app enables you to sit back and enjoy all of your favorite videos with the full screen interface, and you can upload videos created with iMovie, Corel VideoStudio Pro and other editing software directly to Vimeo.
