Like all makers of displays, Viewsonic is aware of the growing 3D trend, so it decided to make sure that the V3D241wm-LED does support this display mode, giving it a refresh rate of 120 Hz, although this is hardly its only asset.

The V3D241wm-LED 3D monitor has a screen size of 24 inches and, of course, support for Full HD quality, which means its native resolution is of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels.

It also has a response time of 2ms, a brightness of 300 nits and a dynamic contrast ratio of 20,000,000:1, plus a pair of built-in 2W speakers.

What's more, Viewsonic threw in the Eco mode, which can significantly reduce the amount of power consumed.

"With the quality of graphics in today's films and computer games constantly on the rise, users are demanding display technology that can do justice to this content at a reasonable price," explains James Coulson, European marketing manager, ViewSonic.

"The V3D241wm-LED combines ViewSonic's display pedigree with advanced features like HD and 3D, providing an immersive viewing experience, but able to perform as a quality 2D monitor when required," he added.

"ViewSonic have been a great company to work with, and it is clear that they are dedicated to producing fantastic display technology," says Darren Grasby, corporate vice president, Sales, EMEA at AMD.

"The ViewSonic V3D241wm-LED is an ideal match for AMD Radeon graphics cards, as it will enable one of the most compelling stereo 3D experiences currently available," Grasby went on to saying.

Needless to say, the monitor is bundled with a pair of 3D glasses, of the active shutter variety in this case. It is already up for order in the UK, where it has the price tag of £330.

Those interested in a first-hand view of all specifications need only stop by the official product page that already exists on Viewsonic's website.
