Although tablet manufacturers are trying to release their products with the latest Google mobile platform on board, it appears that ViewSonic does not care that much about it.

The manufacturer's 7-inch ViewBook tablet with Android 2.2 Froyo is now available for purchase from Amazon for just $229.99.

Furthermore, ViewBook 730 is bundled with Amazon services, including Amazon Kindle/E-reader, Amazon MP3/Music shopping and download and Amazon Appstore.

It seems that ViewSonic has partnered with Amazon to offer an extensive package of integrated services such as the ones aforementioned.

Those who decide to go for the ViewBook will be able to download music with Amazon MP3 and listen to audiobooks with Audible.

Watching movie previews and getting information about celebrities, TV shows, movies, and theater showtimes with IMDB will be possible as well.

The device is equipped with a single core ARM Cortex-A8 processor clocked at 1GHz and packs 512MB RAM, 8GB of internal memory and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

ViewBook comes with a 7-inch touchscreen display with 16 million colors support and 800 x 480 pixels resolution, which is based on the Rite Touch technology for pen writing.

The tablet features a slim, ergonomic and lightweight design, as it weighs 430g (battery included) and is only 0.55 inch thick.

With Adobe Flash support users will be able to browse their favorite websites and watch streaming videos. The ViewBook 730 is also optimized for high-quality audio and video playback and sports a secondary front facing camera for video chats.

In addition, the View-Sonic's 7-inch tablet comes with built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support that keeps users connected and provides access to Wi-Fi hotspots for Internet access.

The ViewSonic ViewBook features full HD 1080p video playback and mini HDMI connection, which makes it easier to share favorite media collection with friends and family.
