ViewSonic just announced the release of three brand new widescreen computer monitors which are based on the latest LCD technologies in order to provide the most accurate and sharp images possible for users of desktop computer systems. The three new LCDs come in two sizes of 19 and 22 inches and they feature the innovative Dynamic Contrast technology as well as fast response times and superb quality of image which makes them especially well suited for high level gamers and entertainment enthusiasts.

The new line of LCD computer monitors is composed of the models VX1940w, VX2240w and VX1932wm and thanks to the fact that they implement the Dynamic Contrast ratio technology, they are able to deliver a typical 4000:1 contrast while reducing the ''light leakage'' effect that is observable on almost all monitors.

This ultra high contrast ratio is only available for the VX1940w and VX2240w models that also come with the ClearMotiv innovative technology for very fast response times of only 2ms while providing a 300 nits of brightness level. Thanks to those high performance features these two monitors from ViewSonic are ideally suited for gamers, movie enthusiasts and graphic designers as they also come with high native resolutions of 1680x1050.

The third ViewSonic computer monitor launched now, VX1932wm, also features a fast response time of only 2ms, but it comes with a lower native resolution of 1440x900 and a contrast ratio of 2000:1, while its brightness level is on par with the one featured by its larger siblings. Well suited for business applications, the VX1932wm offers a lot more real desktop area estate and it helps users manage more documents at the same time.

"Incorporating the best in display technology and setting new benchmarks, including 36 percent higher resolution on a 19-inch widescreen display, ViewSonic strives to present the best value, features and price," said Jeff Volpe, vice president of marketing, ViewSonic Americas. "Advancements are allowing consumers to use one display for both work and play, and we are delivering this dual functionality with our LCD monitor and television products."

All three of these ViewSonic displays are certified to work seamlessly with Windows Vista Premium and they will hit the general market sometimes in November and while the VX1940w and VX2240w LCD widescreen monitors will be sporting a price tag between $249 and $349, the VX1932wm version will be available in October for $249.
