14 DAY TRIAL // Taking a look at Kiwi singer Lorde, it's hard to imagine that she's only 17. Her mature looks and songs have made some claim that she's actually older than 17 and they have gone to great lengths to prove that there is a conspiracy here.
Coming to disprove the latest rumors, a video of Lorde performing with her band, Extreme, has been making its way on the internet for a couple of days. The footage is from a performance they gave at the Belmont Intermediate School Battle of the Band Finals.
The video claims that, at the time, Lorde was only 12, making the video 5 years old. Ella Yellich-O'Connor, which is Lorde's real name, can be seen rocking on stage with another female performer and the rest of her band.
At the end of the clip, there is a short interview with the band, and they all look like they're about seven years old, even if Lorde does seem to be the more mature of the group. It makes you wonder, though, what you looked like back in 2009.
So what do you think? Is she really 12 in this video or does she look a lot older, like maybe say, 16 or 17?
