While calculators are common enough, graphing calculators are rather more sophisticated, but still not too much trouble for engineers to put together at this point.

That doesn't mean they can't evolve though. HP has made this more than clear.

That is to say, the company has revealed a graphing calculator housed in aluminum that has a 3.5-inch multitouch screen.

It even comes with a set of graphing apps that will make it simpler for high school and college students to figure out their paraboles and other spatial representation of equations and whatever other mathematical concepts they can think of.

Inserting formulas should be easy (like on Excel spreadsheets) and it might even be possible to play small games on it.
