Her debut in the fashion industry might have been a bit rough, in the sense that people were seemingly not able of letting go of her Spice Girl past and accept her as a true force to be reckoned with, but now that Victoria Beckham has got one foot through the door, she plans to make everybody see that she’s not going nowhere. After her first proper dab in the world of fashion has proven immensely successful, Victoria is making a point of showing off her creations wherever she may go.

Case in point: the starlet’s recent visit to Milan, where she accompanied husband David Beckham to settle in at AC Milan, and on which occasion she donned no less than three different outfits in 15 hours. All her own designs, the frocks in question bespoke of the utmost elegance and edginess that we’ve come to know Victoria for, and ultimately ended by charming industry watchers. At the same time, it is being speculated, Posh’s gesture was meant to show the fashion industry that she was there to stay, a designer just as good as any other famous name and not just someone who was doing this for the money.

The first outfit that Victoria appeared in was a midnight blue pencil skirt, matched with same-shade top and towering heels. Her outfit was completed by a Chanel tote, leather gloves and the most stylish accessory a woman could ever desire, as he has been described, David himself. A few hours later, as the duo went out for dinner, Victoria caused waves in a strapless number, chic in its almost draconian simplicity, save for two sequins tightly hugging her hips.

The following day, on her way to Stefano Gabbana’s house, Victoria looked again like the height of sophistication as she donned another of her costly creations. This time, the former singer went for an all-black ensemble paired with a fur shrug, black shades, oversized glasses and yet another pair of gloves. All in all, Posh made a first impression that Milan is unlikely to forget anytime too soon.

Speaking of her style, Mrs. Beckham recently denied in an interview with Company magazine that she was trying to build an image for herself that was anything she wasn’t. “[My style] hasn't [changed], not at all. I am very British in my style. Think school teacher. I love pencil skirts and fitted blouses, classic cut dresses and well fitted jeans mixed with classic tailoring,” Victoria explained.
