Now that Advanced Micro Devices has launched its Radeon R9 290X Hawaii graphics card, many other IT companies are making their move, especially makers of gaming PCs like CyberPower.

CyberPower (also known as CyberPowerPC), has officially released the very small Hadron AIR gaming personal computer.

Built around a mini-ITX motherboard, it, nonetheless, can handle an Intel Core i7 Haswell central processing unit and a full size GeForce GTX Titan or AMD R9 290X graphics card.

Naturally, the Intel Z87 chipset lies at the base of the hardware configuration, while a 500 watt Gold rated power supply fuels everything, including the soft blue light of the fan LEDs.

There is a Hadron 100a system as well, based on an AMD APU instead (3.9 GHz AMD A8-6400K), A75 chipset motherboard, 4 GB DDR3 RAM, a 7,200 RPM 500 GB HDD, a 24X Slot-loading DVDRW, and of course the EVGA Hadron Air Chassis w/ 500 W 80+ Gold Power Supply.

Here, the price is of $599 / €599, although customizations will bring it up significantly.

The Intel-powered configuration is still stronger though, with 8 GB DDR3 RAM, 1 TB HDD and the LGA1150 Intel Core i5-4440 3.10 GHz (3 MB Intel Smart Cache). The rest of the hardware is the same, leading to a price of $799 / €799.

This is actually the base form, according to the press release. CyberPower has Hadron 200i and 300i configurations as well, with superior hardware, up to the "Haswell" Intel Core i7-4770K 3.50 GHz processor with 8 MB Intel Smart Cache and Hyper Threading technology.

As for the software side, it all comes together in the Microsoft Windows 8.1 operating system.

If you've read the information about AMD's Radeon R9 290X, there shouldn't be much of a dilemma in regard to whether or not you should choose it over NVIDIA's GeForce GTX Titan.
