According to the latest news around the Web, mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless might be on its way to release the HTC Ozone into the wild as soon as June 29. The phone, which is also known as the XV6175, HTC Snap, or Willow, has already been launched with Sprint, and should land on T-Mobile's airwaves in July under the name of Dash 3G.

The launch of HTC Ozone was expected, as the phone went live not only in the US on Sprint, but on other markets around the world as well, and Verizon seems determined to make the move in the near future. While on June 29, the phone will only become available online, rumor has it the carrier plans to make the handset available on the shelves on July 13.

Moreover, it appears that some details on the pricing of the device also made it into the wild. Big Red is expected to have the HTC Ozone available for its customers at $119.99 with a two-year contract agreement, and a $70 mail in rebate should also be taken into consideration, though it is uncertain at this point. Even so, it seems that the handset is a little cheaper than the Sprint variant, which was spotted at Radio Shack with a price tag of $149.99 on contract.

The phone is expected to offer users a candybar form factor, a QWERTY keypad, a 2-megapixel photo snapper, Wi-Fi connectivity, 3.5mm headphone jack, HTC's Inner Circle, as well as support for Visual Voicemail and VZ Navigator.

In addition, the device comes with Microsoft's Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system, and should include support for Microsoft My Phone, Windows Live/Messenger, plus Internet Explorer Mobile 6, a microSD memory card slot, and GPS receiver.
