Phishtank, AVGThreatLabs, SURBL, and MyWOT blacklists, and any other service that relies on data from them, are currently flagging public-trust.com as a phishing site.
According to Conrad Longmore of Dynamoo’s Blog, public-trust.com is a genuine Verizon website that houses Certificate Revocation Lists (CRLs).
However, since the website forwards visitors to verizonenterprise.com – another legitimate Verizon website – it has been mistaken for a phish.
“At least one person seems to have spotted that it wasn't a phish, but it's quite an easy mistake to make because the screenshot of a Verizon site combined with the very non-obvious domain name makes it look extremely phishy,” Longmore explained.
The domain in question was registered back in 2002, so it couldn’t possibly be a phishing site, considering that phishing domains are usually blacklisted within a few weeks.
