Verizon Wireless, North America's second largest mobile operator, has teamed up with Linkin Park (the Grammy Award-winning rock band) and Chris Cornell (ex-front men of Soundgarden and Audioslave), in order to get fans closer to them during the upcoming Projekt Revolution US summer tour.

Debuting on August 7, the Projekt Revolution tour will bring, besides the already mentioned artists, live performances from the following: Atreyu (the metalcore/alternative band from California), The Bravery (the Indie rock / electronic act from New York) and Hawthorne Heights (the pop punk band from Ohio).

During the tour, Verizon's customers will be able to meet and take photos with Linkin Park. Also, those visiting the V CAST Song ID Tent and the Chris Cornell Autograph Signing stations will have the chance to win wristbands with Chris' autograph and to meet him in person before the concerts.

Talking about the partnership with Verizon, Chris Cornell said, "I am very excited to be working with Verizon Wireless to connect with my fans in innovative new ways via their mobile phones and look forward to sharing some of my new music exclusively with the fans attending Projekt Revolution tour first."
