Being one of those suppliers of storage products that has been around for years, Verbatim seems to be quite bent on preparing in advance, as shown by its latest press release that, among other things, mentions some new HDDs.

Each year, multiple trade shows take place, each in a different part of the world, where companies of one or more field get together and try to show each other off.

One of the those that has not yet happened is IFA Berlin, which will run from September 2 through the seventh of the same month.

To set the stage and make sure prospective customers know what to look for and where, Verbatim issued a press release.

There, it outlines its collection of things that will be on display, which includes, among other things, new Store 'n' Go and one Store 'n' Save portable HDDs.

Two of them belong to the Store 'n' Go Executive collection and boast capacities of 500 GB and 750 GB, respectively.

They both utilize the SuperSpeed USB 3.0 interface standard, though this is not their only asset, storage space notwithstanding.

What verbatim decided to also throw in is 256-bit AES Hardware Encryption, adding high level data security to the mix.

These elements are combined with a sensor touch button (for preset functions) and encased in 2.5-inch Silver, Glossy Black or Graphite Grey frames.

The new member of the Store 'n' Go Traveler is also a USB 3.0 2.5-inch model, one with a storage space of 750 GB and rubber edges around the black or silver cases.

Finally, the Store 'n' Save, while also external, is less portable than its peers, boasting the 3.5-inch form factor and a capacity of 3 TB.

Unfortunately, no pricing details were given, but this is not surprising, seeing as how such facts are no doubt being saved for the IFA reveal itself.
