VelaTel Global Communications, previously known as ChinaTel Group, has just announced the launch if the Infinity G series of branded products.

The carrier's branded product can be activated on its GO MOVIL 4G wireless broadband network, in Peru.

Initially, VelaTel's Infinity G product line includes a 7-inch and a 10-inch touchscreen tablet, an USB dongle, and a pocket Mi-Fi device.

The announcement follows the carrier's launch of its wireless network in eight targeted cities in Peru under the GO MOVIL brand, earlier this month.

Apparently, GO MOVIL is currently the first and only 4G network in Peru and with the introduction of VelaTel's Infinity G wireless devices, customers in Peru will be able to access its 4G network while on the move using these low-cost mobile solutions.

The 7 and 10-inch touchscreen tablets include a microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

In addition, both tablets are VoIP and Bluetooth enabled and include an HDMI port for transferring media, including movies, from the tablet to a T.V.

The new USB Dongle operates like a “plug and play” device with no disk ever being needed for installation.

The device allows users to access the Internet by inserting the dongle into their laptop or other devices.

The Mi-Fi device allows users to turn their mobile devices into “hot spots” while under VelaTel's network coverage.

Customers will be able to wirelessly connect their own device, such as a smartphone or tablet to the Mi-Fi device to create their own cloud of coverage for accessing the Internet.

The Mi-Fi device converts VelaTel's WiMax signal into Wi-Fi for the user. Up to four independent devices can connect simultaneously under one Mi-Fi cloud.

According to VelaTel, the new products will be available for sale or pre-order in GO MOVIL stores in Peru beginning August 19.
