Although small in size, the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera (BMPCC) packs true digital film features found in usual Super 16 digital film cameras.

The BMPCC comes with a Super 16 sensor, 13 stops of dynamic range, MFT (Micro Four Thirds) lens mount, as well as the ability to capture high-quality lossless RAW CinemaDNG files or ProRes 422.

Korean photographic and video equipment manufacturer Varavon has recently announced the availability of the new Armor Pocket Cage designed exclusively for the BlackMagic Pocket Cinema Camera.

The rig comes with quite a few interesting features, including top handle, hotshoe, and 15mm rail system, and is compatible with the Multifinder Uni LCD viewfinder, which makes it perfect for low-angle and daylight shooting.

The Armor Pocket Cage also comes with a highly compatible plate that allows you to mount it on various tripods, including Manfrotto 701, 502, Schatler, and Varavon 815BIG.

Varavon Armor Pocket Cage for BMPCC is now available for purchase from the Varavon online store at a price of $317 / €234.
