After 14 years, she feels she’s due part of his $350 million (€277.2 million) estate

Vanessa Paradis and Johnny Depp may have put an end to their 14-year romance, but she's determined to make him pay for the last several years of infidelities. More specifically, she plans to hit him where it hurts him the most: in his bank account, The National Enquirer has learned.

The tabloid claims to have it on very good authority that Vanessa has already taken steps for a palimony case, in which she'd be awarded half of Johnny's estate.

The actor is believed to have a net worth of $350 million (€277.2 million), most of which he made with his “Pirates of the Caribbean” role as the quirky, drunken but ultimately adorable Captain Jack Sparrow.

Because Depp only started to enjoy fame as a mainstream actor after he and Vanessa started dating, she plans to use that as argument that she was instrumental in his success and, as such, she's due half the money he made during the time they were a couple.

Furthermore, considering they've been together for 14 years, they were as good as married, the tab notes.

“Furious over bombshell reports that the heartthrob actor has been wildly partying and secretly romancing a string of beautiful women, Johnny’s longtime French lover Vanessa Paradis is demanding an equal share of his movie millions, say friends,” the Enquirer writes.

“At 49, the superstar has become Hollywood’s highest-paid actor – raking in more than $20 million [€15.8 million] a film. In 2010 alone, he reportedly made a whopping $100 million [€79.2 million],” notes the same publication.

Had it not been for reports that he cheated on her with a number of women, the split would have probably been amicable, insiders say.

As it stands, Vanessa is heartbroken and furious, and she wants to have her revenge – one way or another.

“Vanessa is gunning for Johnny. She played a big part in his success and for years they shared everything. It’s only in recent months that they’ve lived separate lives. Vanessa hears about all these other women, and Johnny’s drinking and partying, and she can’t help wondering how long it’s been going on,” says a spy.

“And career-wise, while he was becoming a major movie star, she took a seven-year break from recording albums. Just because they never got married doesn’t mean she shouldn’t have the same rights as a wife. She feels she deserves a hefty portion of that $350 million [€277.2 million] fortune,” the insider adds.

Vanessa and Johnny also have two children together.

They were never married and did not specify a reason for their decision to break up in the statement they sent out to the media a short while ago.
