“The Collector's Cache” is now available for purchase to all Compendium owners for just €1.99 ($1.99). Keep in mind that if you don't own the Compendium, you won't be able to purchase the Collector's Cache.
According to Valve, upon opening the Cache, you will have a 1 in 250 chance of getting the Immortal Faceless Rex courier. It's also worth mentioning that The Collector's Cache will only be available for purchase until the end of The International and cannot be listed on Steam Community Market.
By opening a Collector's Cache, players will also get the chance to increase their Compendium level through different methods.
Earn Compendium levels or a rare courier
For example, the first time they open a Cache, they will earn 2 levels, when they open 5 Caches, they will earn 5 levels, and lastly, they will earn 11 levels when opening 5 Caches.
In addition, Valve stated that there's also a chance that a Cache could contain an item that grants 11 Compendium levels directly. You should also know that each set from the Collector's Cache can be recycled for two levels.
Each set that you get inside the Collector's Cache can't be sold, but it is possible to gift them once. On the other hand, the Faceless Rex courier is fully tradable and marketable.
The Collector's Cache contains one of the following items: Fires of Vashundol, Armor of the Unyielding Mask, Serpent of the Emerald Sea, Flowing Entropy, Echoes of the Eyrie, Brawler of the Glacier Sea, Knight of the Burning Scale, Garb of the Cunning Augur, Apostle of Decay, Flowersong Tempest, Beacon of Cerulean Light.
As mentioned earlier, the treasure has a chance of containing The International 2015 - 11 Compendium Levels and Faceless Rex courier.
