As I noted at the time, the former Disney star completely did away with her Disney past by strutting on stage in a barely-there outfit, before engaging in a series of very lewd gestures with both her backup dancers and Thicke, who was there for a joint duet on his “Blurred Lines.”
Those thinking that Billy Ray is actually hiding in shame right now, Miley has this to say: he isn’t. In fact, if twerking had been invented in his time and Thicke would have asked him to perform, he would have done the same routine.
“‘Mile, if twerkin woulda been invented.... And I had a foam finger.... I woulda done the same thang you did.’ – DAD,” Miley tweeted the other day.
Billy Ray had previously told ET that, no matter what, Miley was still his “little girl” and he loved her despite everything happening in showbiz.
