14 DAY TRIAL // Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, two of the biggest winners of the night at the 2013 edition of the MTV Video Music Awards, also went up on stage to perform the song that got them one the 3 Moonmen.
That would be “Same Love,” for which they won Best Video with a Social Message.
The awards gala aired live from New York, with all winners voted by fans.

The duo were joined on stage by Mary Lambert and the incomparable Jennifer Hudson, both of them outstanding vocalists – and, of course, they didn’t miss the chance to show off, much to the delight of the audience.
Macklemore and Ryan Lewis also won Best Hip Hop Video and Best Cinematography for “Can’t Hold Us.”
