DG World Expo has announced today what the schedule for the Users Conference and the Hands-on MacLabs will be at the upcoming Macworld Conference & Expo, taking place at San Francisco's Moscone Center on January 9-13, 2006.

For those who have never been to a similar event before, the Users Conference is aimed at Mac users of all skill levels, while Hands-on MacLabs are hands-on computer training sessions that last approximately half a day.

Those who will be there have the opportunity to improve their handling of Mac OS X, learn how to master the new features of their tools of the trade, and expand their creative horizons in the fields of digital photography and digital video production. There are over thirty conference sessions over the two days, each session being 75 minutes long. The five tracks in the Users Conference are titled: "Mac Power User", "Creative Tools", "Digital Photography", "Digital Video" and "Productivity".

Featured sessions include: - "Tiger Secrets": Join this highly entertaining session as popular New York Times columnist, David Pogue, makes Mac OS X Tiger, sing, dance, and walk on its head. - "Digital Storytelling with Your iLife Media": iLife allows nonprofessionals to achieve amazingly professional results with your digital media: photos, movies, music. - "Getting Better Pictures from Your Digital Camera": photo expert, Ben Long, covers all of the fundamental photographic concepts that a good photographer needs to know, whether they're shooting digital or film. - "Essentials of Digital Cinematography": This seminar will condense 2 years of film school into 75 minutes -- how to get stunningly beautiful, Hollywood quality results from any DV camcorder. - "Mac OS X Tiger for Windows Users": Tiger provides a variety of features and technologies that enable Macs and PCs running Windows to work seamlessly together.

The Hands-on MacLabs are half-day sessions on Friday, January 13 that provide hands-on computer training. Class size is limited to ensure that each student receives the expert instructor's full attention. Topics include: - Mastering the Adobe Creative Suite - Building Your Own Packages - QuickTime Media Creation and Online Delivery: A 4-Hour Tour - Get "Authorized' with DVD Studio Pro - Final Cut Studio Integration - Unleash your Creativity with Corel Painter IX
