14 DAY TRIAL // QuarkXPress is a powerful page layout program for Mac OS X. The folks at Quark Inc. have just announced a new update for their flagship product. QuarkXPress 8 is now easier to install, while the program's UI adds elements to support an additional five languages. QuarkXPress 8 also adds support for the latest updates from Pantone Inc., PANTONE Goe color libraries, the company reveals.
Announcing the availability of the QuarkXPress 8.02 update, Quark Inc. also confirmed a free 60-day Test Drive for existing users of the software. The company then moved to enumerate the changes brought by the update, mentioning that QuarkXPress 8.0.2 improves the installation experience, adds user interface localization for five additional languages, and addresses the most important issues reported by customers. The new release adds support for the latest updates from Pantone Inc., PANTONE Goe color libraries, Quark Inc. says.
QuarkXPress 8.02 includes additional language support in the form of user interface localization. Localization is now available for five extra languages (Danish, Norwegian, Czech, Portuguese, and Finnish). Quark Inc. is proud to say that the new language features have been “developed and implemented in close collaboration with key partners and customers in each of the relevant markets.”
