Microsoft has introduced an update to its Cloud-based scarring, collaboration and remote access service. Following the delivery of the June 2009 update to Live Mesh, users will no longer come across display issues on Windows 7.

The software giant explained that the update resolved display problems featured in the Resolve Conflicts dialog box associated with Windows 7 computers. The Redmond-based company started rolling out the refresh on June 25, and indicated that the delivery process was automated.

“Live Mesh for Windows 9.4014.7 has been released. It will automatically update. No action is required on your part,” a member of the Live Mesh team stated. According to the software giant, in addition to the Windows 7 fix, the update also kicks up a notch the version numbers for the Live Mesh Desktop, now at 0.9.4014.7 and for the Live Mesh PC (x86 and AMD64) to 0.9.4014.7.

On top of this, Live Mesh for Windows 9.4014.7 delivers “improved performance in memory handling,” the Live Mesh team representative revealed. Microsoft also noted that the update changed the layout and link changes on the official Mesh website. Users will also be able to enjoy under the hood changes, especially “server-side fixes for improved performance and stability,” the Redmond-based company explained.

The latest version of Live Mesh comes at just a little over a month since Microsoft released the previous update in the first half of May. At that time, the service evolved to Live Mesh for Windows version 0.9.4014.4.

“Thank you for using Live Mesh. We’re working hard to create the best experience and appreciate any comments you have. Please send your feedback on how Live Mesh can be improved, or send anonymous feedback here.  Also, if you have a moment, please rate Live Mesh,” the Live Mesh representative said.
