All members of the gaming community have been a little shaken up when finding out that a major upcoming title is about to be canceled and it seems that we're dealing with one of Microsoft's Xbox 360 games. The only problem is that we don't know the name of the game and in case you wondered, the speculation comes from one of 1UP's podcasts.

The suspects list includes titles like Alan Wake, Banjo-Kazooie 3, Too Human, Fable 2 and Halo Wars, all of them being published by Microsoft and all of them being uber-hyped up. According to the representative of the above mentioned games' developers some of these upcoming releases are still in the making. At least this is the case of Alan Wake and Banjo-Kazooie 3, while Too Human will surely hit our game stores' shelves.

So, we're left with Fable 2 and Halo Wars, specially since we're tempted to believe that the last of them is the victim of the Microsoft-Bungie divorce. However, a major franchise like Halo can't be left for dead, so we're really not sure at this point. As for Fable 2, a couple of Lionhead developers commented upon these rumors stating the game's alive and kicking. The list doesn't end here however as Marvel Universe, for example could be axed before making it into your local game shop. However, comics-related games never go to waste, specially when they're turned into MMO titles.

It's not quite OK when a title gets delayed, but imagine the gamers' anger when a major blockbuster gets canceled. Specially when we're dealing with a member of a long-running series, which brought many fans... Imagine being left without a sequel for Metal Gear, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts or Devil May Cry. These things just can't happen, unless the game's developer or publisher is in serious legal trouble or wants to brutally end the series in its age of glory.
