There is no clue what the company is playing at, but all should become clear soon

Like most companies, SteelSeries has a Twitter account, which means that, once in a while, it will let something slip.

This time around, the company is deliberately being a tease, showcasing what appears to be a mouse with an integrated display.

It is hard to tell why the display is there, especially since the user's hand will be on top of it most of the time.

What we, and others, tend to think is that the small LCD will show polling and refresh rates.

Of course, this assumes that these parameters will be configurable on-the-fly.

Then again, if SteelSeries bothers to add a display to any mouse, it will probably choose one that already has a bunch of such special features.

No pricing or even a name exists at this point, but we should learn everything there is to know within a week.
