In need of a tablet that can satisfy your basic needs? Maybe you should consider adopting the upcoming GSmart 7 slate.

You won’t find any high-end specifications here, but it will be enough to watch a video or to read an Ebook.

According to AndroidCommunity, the GSmart 7 will pack a single-core Intel Atom Z2460 at 1.6 GHz with 1GB of RAM. Customers will have their choice to purchase an 8 GB or 16 GB depending on their needs.

The resolution isn’t spectacular, as the 7-inch display features a 1024 x 600 resolution, but you will still be able to play a game of ZUMA on it.

Battery wise, a very important aspect when considering which tablet to buy, the device is said to last up to 6 hours when streaming media content or with the Wi-Fi turned on. It case you are just listening to music on it, it can last up to 10 hours.

The tablet looks to be built from a resistant material, so it’s probably safe to be handled by small children as well.

No information is available about which operating system we’re going to see on it. The same goes for the price, but we expect it to be an affordable one.
