The Unreal Tournament series cemented the dominance of Epic as the main deliverer of adrenaline rushing action in videogames. More than any other multiplayer and singleplayer shooter on the market, Unreal Tournament manages to make the player feel like part of the battle, offering him a myriad of weapons and ways in which to defeat his rivals.

Unreal Tournament 3, the latest installment in the series, is now at last available for players that prefer the Xbox 360 gaming console from Microsoft. The game was initially launched on the PC and on the PlayStation 3, and gathered very positive reviews.

The Xbox 360 edition of the game comes with several improved features, which make for a smoother and more lethal gameplay experience. Split screen support has been added for those that want to go into battle with a buddy, and there are two new playable characters and five new game maps that the player can enjoy. The game also incorporates all the downloadable content that has been previously released for the PC and the PS3.

In addition to the game features, the Xbox 360 edition also includes a never before seen video preview of the upcoming Epic game Gears of War 2. Expect to hear Epic Games' design director, Cliff Bleszinski, and Gears of War senior producer, Rod Fergusson, talk about the multiplayer, the maps and the weapons of the new game.

Mark Rein, the vice president of Epic, has stated that "searing-hot first-person shooter action comes to Xbox 360 this summer with Unreal Tournament 3. With a bevy of new and exclusive content, Xbox 360 owners can now get their frag on by choosing to play online with friends over Xbox LIVE or against our amazing AI bots."

Unreal Tournament 3 has an M rating from the ESRB and will retail for 59.95 dollars.
