Deus Ex: Human Revolution, the mix between all out action, conversation and stealth from developer Eidos Montreal and publisher Square Enix, has managed to fight off a determined assault from a new release in order to keep the top position in the United Kindom video game chart for the second week in a row.

The game, which Softpedia has a full review and a set of Gamer Diaries for, has managed to impress with the attention to detail and with the wide open world which allows for a lot of approaches.

Second place in the top ten has been captured by Driver: San Francisco, the driving game from French publisher Ubisoft, which uses a body jumping mechanics in order to allow the player to control more than one vehicle in the same race and escape crashes at the last moment.

Zumba Fitness, the exercise game from 505 Games that has long dominated the chart, is now sitting in third place and will probably continue to slide down as new releases come to the market.

Fourth place went to Rugby World Cup 2011, also from 505 Games, which is popular because of the approaching competition that will take place in New Zealand.

LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean, from Disney Interactive Studios, has managed to take fifth place in the chart, coming down one from fourth, while new release Madden NFL 12 from EA Sports has only managed to take over sixth place during its first week on sale.

Seventh place in the United Kingdom chart belongs to Call of Duty: Black Ops, from Activision and Treyarch, which has a fourth spell of popularity because of new zombie based downloadable content.

Eight place has been taken over by Cars 2, from Disney, while FIFA 11 has slid down two places from seventh.

The top is closed down by The Sims 3, from Electronic Arts.
