There could also be some story hidden inside

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is a title that snatched game awards from everybody. It proved to have all the right bits in all the right places and everybody liked that. One thing that gamers really found enjoyable turned out to be the title's co-op sessions, so it's no surprise then that the developers are preparing more of just that in the near future.

Uncharted 2 fans that feel the best honor to be found in the game is the one amongst thieves will be glad to hear that the chances are pretty high that these new missions could be more than just new maps and could evolve into some deeper, story-telling content. Taking a broader look at the game along G4, Naughty Dog's Evan Wells also contemplated the possibilities and territories in which future U2 DLC would venture.

"So for future DLC, could we add more co-op? Probably more in the arena-style type of gameplay, like our Survival and our Gold Rush modes." And that's not all the developers are thinking of, and the hard work that they think will be required is nothing short of excellent news for us. Not so top-notch for them, but someone's got to sweat, and it might as well be them the ones that do it, and leave the reward collecting to us.

"The objective-style co-op that we have where we have those little narrative moments...it's something that we are considering and we'd really like to do, but it's a much, much bigger investment of time because we have to do a lot of motion capture with the actors and record a lot of voices. So we would absolutely want [to] make sure that we talk to our community and make sure there was the proper demand for it." DLCs are the gift that keeps on giving, and, even if it's not a Christmas present, it's still nice to hear the upcoming content for Uncharted 2 will have a little bit of substance.
