14 DAY TRIAL // After this month's releases, Silent Hunter III and Brothers In Arms: Road To Hill 30, Ubisoft revealed the plans for 2005 - 2006. Many of the announced titles are either newer or console versions of already known games.
The biggest news promises to be Kiling Day (temporary title), a FPS recommended by Ubisoft as specially designed for the next generation consoles, promised for release in January - March 2006.
Three more titles are planned for release for such consoles: Ghost Recon 3, Splinter Cell 4 and King Kong, (a game inspired in Peter Jackson's remake). All of them will also be available as PC versions.
The fans of the newly released Brothers In Arms will be delighted to find out that they will be awarded a continuation before the year ends, when another add-on to another success (Far Cry) is also planned.
And since the end-year is the most prosperous time when it comes to games, Ubisoft steps forward with a Nintendo version of Prince of Persia : Warrior Within (to be released at the same time with Prince of Persia 3 and with Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 3)
The Ubisoft involvement in sporting games is confirmed by the release before the winter season of And 1, a basketball game.
Ubisot promises even more goodies for 2006; besides the Splinter Cell 4 and Kiling Day, Silent Hunter 4 and Heroes of Might and Magic are also on the run. Yep! Interesting times are just ahead of us!
