Once European gamers will get their hands on the PlayStation 3, they will also have available a big collection of next-gen titles to choose from. Ubisoft is also contributing to this PS3 titles library with five new games.

CVG has the world as they reveal the list of Ubisoft games available on the European PS3 launch: Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2, Splinter Cell Double Agent, Rainbow Six Vegas, Oblivion and Blazing Angels. This is also confirmed by the publisher's latest release schedule for the UK.

As CVG points out, some original PS3 games from Ubisoft would be nice. But at least, the PS3 Double Agent will feature some extra content, some extra multiplayer maps to be exact and CVG also reveals that PS3 Double Agent will also support the SIXAXIS's tilt functionality in some way.

Currently, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent is covering all the available platforms: Xbox 360, PS2, Nintendo GameCube, PC and Nintendo Wii. The storyline of this game slightly differs from platform to platform as well as the multiplayer mode. The PS2, GC, Xbox and Wii versions of the game have a Spy vs. Spy mode, in which players are able to play as Thrid Echelon or the Upsilon Forces spies, as well as a cooperative mode that helps intertwine with the single-player portion of the game.

Six game modes are available in Spy vs Spy matches, including: Team Hack, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Ket Run, Sam vs All (real interesting) and Countdown. Some say that Team Hack is similar to Capture the Flag multiplayer modes, as players are required to hack into enemies computers while securing their own.
