Ubisoft is one of the biggest video game publishers and developers currently active on the market, holding the keys to IPs such as Prince of Persia, Far Cry, or Assassin's Creed. The company has now posted its financial results, and, from the report, we can clearly highlight some of the biggest upcoming titles and their release windows.

First up is its famous Tom Clancy series of video games, which are all based on the popular writer's works of fiction. The next Ghost Recon title has been revealed to appear in the current fiscal year, which spans until March 2010, so don't get your hopes of guiding your team on hostile ground with the help of advanced technology around Christmas very high.

World-renowned spy Sam Fisher will return at the end of this year in Splinter Cell: Conviction, a title that promises to solve a lot of mysteries in the franchise and give people a very unique take on stealth and spy games. Although the game, which will appear exclusively on the Xbox 360, was dated for release a couple of years ago, the team at Ubisoft Montreal decided that a fresh take on was needed and has worked on a new visual style, according to the company's CEO Yves Guillemot.

In terms of more casual titles, the sequel to Ubisoft's Wii launch game, Red Steel, was confirmed for release before the holiday season. The details about Red Steel 2 supporting the Wii MotionPlus add-on for the regular Wii remote are also present, meaning that players will be able to wield katanas in a truly realistic manner.

All in all, Ubisoft really has a solid lineup, and let's not forget that other blockbuster titles such as Assassin's Creed 2, or I Am Alive are also dated for this current fiscal year, meaning that we will be seeing quite a lot of the company's logo when we start up our games.
