Team Inj3c0r and Team R00tw0rm breached the official website of the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR), leaking the entire contents of its databases. “After UN.ORG, UNESCO.ORG and UNEP.ORG We present you UNIDIR.ORG lol. United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research, a UN Organization basically working for U.S.A, is good for nothing. Yes! We accept that they are doing lil work for poor/needy people. But that's not enough :\ is it ?” the hackers wrote.

The data dump includes most of the information publicly displayed on the agency’s site, along with the database’s structure, usernames and passwords.

Websites affiliated or governed by the United Nations have become an easy target for hacktivists and hackers who want to test their skills on the domains of famous organizations.

Hopefully, the latest series of data breaches will act as a wakeup call and the UN will address the issues that may expose its assets.
