A woman in the UK is supporting the Movember effort by growing a mustache of her own. 29-year-old Sarah O’Neill suffers from polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), a condition that makes her grow abundant facial hair.

While she doesn't normally let it grow and tries to have it removed right away, she has decided to forgo grooming for prostate and testicular cancer month.

The Hull woman, who lives with her 25-year-old girlfriend, Tina Briggs, has been living with the condition for seven years. She uses hair removal cream on her face once a week, she tells Hull Daily Mail.

Going without it for a month is scary, but she says it is worth it in order to promote awareness of prostate and testicular cancer.

Movember was started in Australia in 2003 and it took off worldwide. Men and women are taking up growing taches for the cause.
