14 DAY TRIAL // Shoppers at a Tesco store in Wales were not very pleased to go shopping for pens and backpacks and find liquor in the “Back To School” aisle.
Posted above is a photo snapped by a customer in a Swansea Tesco location. There are several types of alcoholic beverages on the shelves – different types of vodka, gin, scotch, rum, and a few novelty brands.
Parents expected to find paper, pencils, backpacks, notebooks, and other supplies that their children might need.
“Maybe they think parents need a stiff one to cope with the stress of a new term,” 56-year-old shopper Susan Lloy jokes, as relayed by The Mirror.
Tesco reps have been made aware of the incident. They explained that the store was being restocked when the photo was snapped.
