Not good enough for them?

When a product is extremely promising, shops will be filling their stocks with it and people stepping on their feet for buying it. This being the case, it makes you wonder just what chances has Motorola Z8 at some success, as three of the five main carriers in the UK have decided not to bring it for their customers.

Motorola invested more than 5 million pounds in advertising this new phone model, but it has managed to score only two of 5 operators in the UK. O2 and Vodafone will be the only two carriers for the Motorola Z8 handset. Orange, T-Mobile and 3, on the other hand, have decided not to introduce this phone in their line-up.

Motorola had high hopes with this cellular, as it featured evolved performances and was supposed to compensate for the drop in sales numbers that the company has registered during this year's second quarter. It has invested most for it to have a perfect launch and a positive image for the buyers, although it might show results well below their expectations.

The 15.3 mm slider phone comes with a fresh design, which takes the RAZR concept to a new level, which was supposed to bring it a matching success level. It has a curved line which follows that of the user's face. It may not add a great deal to the comfort of carried conversations, but it does manage to make the Z8 look modern and innovative.

The fact that it runs on Symbian UIQ software has made it somewhat more interesting for many people who prefer this system. Moreover, it comes with 90 MB of internal memory but also supports a microSD card of up to 4GB.

Both O2 and Vodafone are offering the Motorola Z8 mobile phone for free, according to their data plans, although Carphone Warehouse is selling it with one O2 tariff.
