A new range of memory cards has been launched by Kingmax, although one could say that the company only upgraded its lineup of SDXC cards with higher transfer speeds.

There are four new cards available, in 32 GB, 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB capacities.

All of them support UHS-I Speed Class 3, which need them to work at over 30 MB/s, which they definitely do: 90 MB/s when reading, 40 MB/s when writing.

They support exFAT and FAT32 formats, and will best serve people meaning to shoot or record 4K2K videos and photos.

Moving on, the operating temperature is of -25℃ – ~85℃ and the voltage is of 3.3V.

Interestingly enough, in its press release, Kingmax doesn't just speak of photographers and video recorders when referring to potential customers. It also brought up owners of high-end HD flat-screen TVs.

If one were to, say, want to play a high-resolution video taken with their camcorder, they'd only have to insert the card into the card slot (if any) and do it straight from the storage device.

So far, only the 32 GB and 64 GB Kingmax Pro Extreme SDXC cards are up for order, though prices are unclear. The others should show up soon enough. All have 5-year warranties.
