Some better news from the reggae band that has been around for decades, after last week it came under fire because it played its music so loud during a performance that it actually made some fans' ears bleed and others had heart problems because of the loud beat.

This week, it gets better, because three of the original founding members of UB 40, Ali Campbell, Astro and Mickey Virtue, have announced that they will be staring a world tour. They are part of the original line-up that started UB40 way back in 1978.

This comes on top of the news made public earlier this year that the boys had also gotten together to write a new album. Now, they're saying that the World Tour is going to feature some of their classic hits, as well as material from the upcoming new album.

Ali Campbell was the first to leave the band in 2008 and was followed by Virtue, while Astro left in November last year. Since their departure, the band has seen some rough times, and the remaining members declared bankruptcy in 2011, following the failure of their label DEP International.

As one of the largest bands of the 80s, UB40 still enjoys massive success, and its new tour is going to bring a lot people to its concerts.

Among the dates being given for the new tour are those in Great Britain:

December 19 - Birmingham, O2 Academy December 20 - London, IndigO2 December 21 - Manchester, Manchester Academy
