Charlie Harper (Charlie Sheen) might have met a very gory end on CBS’ “Two and a Half Men” but that’s not to say that he’s not here still in spirit. Come next season, he will be even more present on the show, because producers are planning to bring his daughter on board.

If you had no idea about a Harper offspring, fret not: no one knew of her until someone thought she’d make a great addition to the cast, coming to replace Angus T. Jones, who won’t return as regular.

“I hear the girl, in her late teens or early 20s, shows up on Walden Schmidt’s (Ashton Kutcher) doorstep searching for her father. She claims to be a daughter of the house’s previous owner, recently departed perennial bachelor Charlie Harper (Charlie Sheen),” Deadline reports.

“I hear the girl will eventually move in with Walden and her uncle Alan Harper (Jon Cryer). The new character is expected to fill the void left by the departure of Alan’s son Jake as Angus T. Jones recently exited as a regular after 10 seasons on the show,” adds the same media outlet.

CBS is yet to comment on the report but I wouldn’t recommend holding your breath for a confirmation.

However, if this does turn out to be true, producers will have managed to replace two of the three characters mentioned in the show’s title: so perhaps it’s time for a name change?
