They are listed on Newegg and have the features we expected to see

Back in July, we noted how Intel had chosen September 2012, this month as it were, for the release of new Pentium Core i3 central processing units. Today we can tell you that the products are up for sale.

We aren't going to sink too deeply into the details of each processor, as their respective listings do that well enough, and it's not like there is anything all that different, if anything, from what we said about them here.

What we will do, however, is provide information on the central processors that we didn't necessarily expect to see unleashed alongside them.

There are two of them, called Core i5-3330 and Core i5-3350P, and priced at $200 and $190, respectively.

In Euro, that would mean 156 and 148, respectively, but we know well how exchange rates almost never matter, so we are quite certain that the European prices will be of 200 Euro and 190 Euro instead.

At any rate, the former is a quad-core processor with four threads (so no hyper-threading), a base clock speed of 3.0 GHz and a Turbo Boost performance of 3.2 GHz.

The TDP (thermal design power) is 77W, while the cache memory is of 6MB and the integrated graphics (HD 2500) clocked at 650 MHz (1.05 GHz in boosted state).

The other CPU, Core i5-3350P, is also a quad-core with 6MB cache and no Hyper-Threading, but lacks a GPU altogether, which allows a lower TDP (69W). The core frequencies are higher though, of 3.1 GHz and 3.3 GHz.

Needless to say, the newcomers are built on the third-generation Core (Ivy Bridge), 22nm manufacturing process technology. All things considered, they are more than decent for those who don't necessarily want to build themselves the best possible system. Four threads are more than sufficient for common tasks and games today.
