Police officers in Mexico City rescue two Bengal tiger and several deer owned by drug dealers

Only recently, two Bengal tigers and several deer were taken by police officers in Mexico City into their custody. Apparently, the animals will soon be sent to a sanctuary, where trained staff will make sure that their needs are properly met. Times of India reports that these animals were found while carrying out a raid at a drug laboratory located in the Mexican state of Jalisco.

The people who used to own the two tigers and the deer kept them in a warehouse, yet the police officers who helped rescue them are almost sure that they would have eventually ended up in so-called narco-zoos.

Because the people in charge of running this drug lab managed to clear the facility almost immediately after the police units arrived at the scene, no arrests were made.
