Ghanaian actress, model and film producer Yvonne Nelson (@yvonnenelsongh) has had her Twitter account hacked presumably by Nigerians.

The hackers posted several offensive messages about Ghanaians and Nigerians on Nelson’s Twitter feed before she managed to recover the account.

“My account has been hacked! Mr/Miss hacker, next time be bold and brave enough to use your own account to disrespect people. Very rude and inappropriate,” the celebrity wrote on Twitter after regaining control of her account.

“To all those who's names were mentioned, the insults were not from me. My [account] was compromised. Sorry for any inconvenience,” she added.

Spy Ghana reports that this isn’t the first time when Nelson is targeted by cyber trolls. Some time ago, her Twitter account was cloned to make false statements on her behalf.
