While Mad Catz covers the Microsoft Xbox game console line with the TRITTON headset series, Turtle Beach is holding the fort on the Sony PlayStation front.

The company has introduced the Elite 800, Stealth 400, and P12. They are compatible with the PlayStation4 and PlayStation3 consoles.

Ear Force Elite 800 is wireless and uses DTS Headphone:X 7.1 surround sound, plus active noise cancellation. None of these was available on console headsets until now, according to Turtle Beach.

You can even tune preset modes for different game types if you want, or for music and movies. Dual invisible microphones are another cool addition. As for the battery, it lasts for 15 hours. All in all, the Ear Force Elite 800 costs $299.95 / €299.95.

Ear Force Stealth 500 is also wireless, but lighter, yet with the same 15-hour playing time. It has 4 surround presets and other goodies. All for $99.95 / €99.95.

As for the Ear Force P12, it is a stereo gaming headset without Wi-Fi support. It does have an in-line amplifier though, and a price of $59.95 / €59.95. The P12 also happens to be the only headset of the three that will debut early, set for July instead of fall 2014.
